I’m Mona. I’d love to welcome you into my world.

To help you orient a little:

I live in a world where slowness, simplicity, vulnerability, gentleness and deep listening are highly valued.

A world, where everything speaks to us and everything is alive and has meaning.

Where our body & our imagination are cherished messengers.

And where each person is a mysterious multifaceted expression of nature and has their very own quirky path through life.

Hi!

Just to get one thing straight right away:

I believe we all are a little bit f*cked up and every single one of us has the capacity to hold and express immense beauty and wisdom.

That paradox is one of the reasons

why I love being here.

And holding both of these truths at once,
helps me come back to a state of compassion
for myself and others, again & again.

I believe that this is why we are here:

To lose our way, to mess up, a little or a lot,
and then find our way back to our truth and
an open heart.

But how do we reconnect with our heart and with what is truly meaningful for us?

I’ve been living into this question, knowingly & unknowingly, for about two decades and have found different pathways, along a very winding road.

I have found that coming back to our body and her subtle (well, sometimes not so subtle) messages is essential to finding a way of navigating life and making decisions that feel true to who we are.

This relationship with our own flesh, blood, fascia, muscles and organs is the base for every other pathway, because it roots spirit into our human, earthly reality.

Paying close attention to our nighttime dreams and the symbols they deliver to our consciousness is a pathway to the wisdom of the otherworld. It connects us with a reality that feels more profound and embedded in something larger than our waking life alone.

Journeying into and communing with the otherworld through
shamanic practices let’s us directly interact with helping spirits to find support and reconnect with parts of us that we have lost access to through the trauma that most of us grow up with and that is inherent in a patriarchal, domination-oriented culture.

And lastly i
magination and art. We are creative by nature. The contemporary art world is a strange expression of a realm that was originally there to expand our views of what we can be, to directly connect us with the divine and the erotic life force that moves through everything that exists.
